Before your event, we’ll talk about the overall feeling you want to evoke on the day-of – we'll discuss what your vision is for the day and any other details. As a vocalist on your event day, I will provide your guests with a curated musical experience.

BRINGING LIVE MUSIC TO YOUR EVENT

as a violinist

Adding a live violin to your event can elevate the overall atmosphere tremendously. It gives your event a classical, elevated, and luxurious feeling. As a violinist, we will discuss the types of music and songs that resonate with you. On your event day, I will come prepared to play the discussed music for your guests.

Booking me as both a vocalist and violinist will create an overall elevated atmosphere for your guests. Prior to your event date, we will discuss what parts of your day will include vocals, and what parts will include violin. Having both vocals and violin will give your event a luxurious feel.

Where are you based?

I’m based in Sydney, Australia, but I travel all over to perform. For bookings outside of Sydney, extra fees may apply.

What kinds of music do you play?

I love playing all different kinds of music and am always open to different versions of songs. I have discovered the most incredible songs through the recommendations and requests of couples!

Do you do same-sex weddings?

A million times YESS!!! LGBTQIA+, no matter how you identify and regardless of how you define your relationship, I’d love to be a part of your wedding day. Love is love and I’m 100% here for it!

Do you change location?

You bet! I want your day to be as seamless as possible and no one dislikes an awkward silence without music more than me! Between ceremony and canapés we will change location within in the same venue. For different venues (ie ceremony to reception venue) I do this exclusively when you book me for the full day.

How long do you play for?

This depends on the type of function and what you’re after. Typically I play for up to 45 mins at a time. This is the length of a standard set for most musicians. Typically I play up to 5 sets but we can extend if you need us for longer.

When do I need to decide on my songs?

I like to have your final song selection one month prior to your wedding date. I will send you a reminder email 6 weeks out along with lots of inspiration and playlists and then at 4 weeks out you’ll get another email with the song selection questionnaire to fill out.

Will you be playing with a guitarist or pianist?

Subject to availability of my duo partners, that is your choice based on your preference. However, if there is definitely no access to power and we need to be 100% battery powered, then guitar duo is the better choice.

What if I have to cancel or move my booking?

Life is complicated and the unexpected is to be expected. The deposit is non refundable as this helps to protect my business due to turning away all other bookings for your wedding date. I hope you understand that the deposit is insurance for my business to stay afloat in the event of a cancellation.

Will you perform special requests?

Yes, I sure do! Depending on which package you select, I perform up to 4 requests that are outside of my current repertoire. I love learning songs that are unique and special to you. I very rarely say no to a request- definitely get in touch if you have a burning desire for a song that’s not on my list!

How long do you need to set up?

Typically 60-90 mins. This gives me the time to set up, sound check and be ready to go before guests arrive.
